When Designing for a client, the Designer begins in the Templates panel.

Creating Templates
Swift Galleries creates a handful of templates for you automatically when you create a new product type.
Additionally you may create your own templates with the Template Manager. If you don't have any templates yet, please create some!
Favorite Templates
By default the Template Panel starts with all templates shown. Favorites have a blue background instead of grey.

Filtering Templates
If you'd like to change the filters to include or exclude templates, click on "Show Filters" to see a screen like this:

1. Total Gallery Size
This is the total size of the gallery, from edge to edge of the products on the wall. Width is first followed by height.
Swift Galleries calculates this by looping through all of your templates and determines the smallest and largest area that you have available. Using this information, the Designer is limited to the max and min of those areas.
As you add new templates these bounds will change. For example, if your upper limit is 500 and you create a new template with a size of 600, this will be your new bound. Conversely, if you update the template with the upper limit to be 400, your new bound would be 400 (unless there is another template with a size greater than 400 but less than 500).
2. Number of Products
This is a constraint on the number of products included in the gallery.
The same applies in number of products as did in the gallery size - as you create and save new templates, your bounds will change.
3. Product Types
If a template contains at least one product of a checked product type it will be included. You can click the arrows next to the product categories (framed, circle, wrapped, non-wrapped) to see all of the products within each category.
4. Favorites Constraint
If checked this will only show favorites (disabled by default).
When you are finished filtering, click "Hide Filters".
Applying a Template
To apply a template, simply click on the slide that contains the template you want. Your current gallery will be cleared and the template will be added to the wall.
